UPC Romania could see an increase of over 10% in its EBITDA this year, according to Liberty Global’s president and CEO Mike Fries.
Speaking to analysts in New York and quoted in ZF, he added that subscriber losses at UPC Romania had been finally arrested after several quarters of falls.
In the latter instance, this had been achieved by aligning the operator’s prices with those of its competitors.
UPC Romania is the second largest cable operator in Romania after RCS/RDS. It also operates Focus Sat, one of the country’s five DTH platforms.
