Ukraine’s leading cable operator Volia has announced plans to launch an IPTV service in the second half of 2010.
According to the company, research has shown that up to 15% of Volia Broadband and 7% of Volia Premium T (digital TV) subscribers have shown an interest in receiving such a service.
Volia adds that it does not expect a IPTV service to be initially profitable, though this will change as take-up is projected to grow rapidly.
