The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has introduced a new mobile broadband service.
Known as MobilNET, it is being made available as an add-on for subscribers already receiving fixed broadband and is available in 1 GB, 2 GB and 4 GB versions.
Its cost varies according to the version and length of contract. Fixed broadband (1 Mb) plus MobilNET 1 GB for 24 months, for instance, is being offered for PLN69 (€16.7), plus a one-off activation fee of PLN39.
Multimedia is the third largest cable operator in Poland in terms of subscriber numbers after UPC and Vectra.
