Viasat Ukraine adds football channels

Viasat Broadcasting is to add the Football and Football Extra channels to its DTH platform Viasat in Ukraine.

Football, which will be made available in the premium package Prestige from the end of November, has exclusive rights to the Ukrainian Premier League, as well as Spain’s La Liga and the French, Dutch, Portuguese and Scottish football leagues.

Football Extra will meanwhile make its debut in 2010, and both it and Football will be exclusively distributed via satellite by Viasat in Ukraine.
