Russia’s Comstar-UTS is to use a set-top box testing system from Mirifice for all its future IPTV and set-top box deployments.
Known as MiriATE, it will be used in combination with MiriMON, introduced by Comstar-UTS in 2008 for real-time monitoring of service quality and customer service levels.
Mirifice, which is headquartered in Bath, UK, also lists BSkyB, BT, Virgin Media, Top-Up TV, Pace, Austar, Open TV, Tandberg and Thomson among its customers.
