ACC Convention – Bucharest. The Hungarian-based content provider Tematic Media Group (TMG) has added two more channels to its portfolio.
Speaking exclusively to Broadband TV News, the distribution director for Tematic Cable said the channels in question are Karaoke TV and the medical Medica, both of which are operated by the Israeli company Ananey Communications.
Ananey Communications in addition operates Smarty, a channel aimed at kids aged 3-14, that Tematic Cable also distributes.
Tematic Cable distributes three further third party channels – Bebe TV, TV2 (Hungary) and Halozat – and the proprietary channels PV TV (Hunting and Fishing), Music Mix and Nota TV (traditional gypsy music, 80s concerts and talk shows).
All are available in Hungary and Romania, with Music Mix also carried in Slovakia and Serbia.
