The timetable for the launch of Slovakia’s DTT operation may be about to slip.
According to Digizone, its operator Towercom, whose interests include the DTH platform Skylink, has yet to secure clients for the first multiplex. It had been planned that the DTT operation, which has yet to make its debut, would cover 80% of the country by the end of the year.
Towercom has said it plans to launch a second multiplex, dedicated solely to public service broadcasting, in the first half of next year.
However, the public broadcaster STV says it has not yet received a contract or price details from the company.
