CNN has today overhauled its website, integrating its popular iReport social networking feature, and carrying more video.
“This is a total re-imagining of CNN.com, and we are extremely excited about unveiling it to the world,” said KC Estenson, senior vice president and general manager of CNN.com. “CNN.com has always been a destination for breaking news but the breadth and depth of the new site will give users a fresh new way to experience CNN’s content.”
The new homepage places the top stories, video and interactive features ‘above the fold’. The page can be personalised with local weather, headlines, stock quotes and sports scores, while the search functionality has been rebuilt.
The international edition gives more depth to stories in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America alongside existing sections for Europe, Asia and North America.
CNN iReport will fold the social media features of iReport.com into the main CNN site. CNN editors will highlight the most interesting content at the front on the iReport section.

"In an industry that experiences rapid change and often a confusing subsequent
constant supply of news, it is often refreshing to read an insightful perspective. Broadband
