The number of receivers used to watch Hungary’s FTA DTT service MinDig TV already exceeded 55,000 at the end of this August.
The figure was provided yesterday (October 14) at a conference on digital switchover organised by Antenna Hungária.
It also heard that a new Media Act may be enacted in the first half of 2010, as well as calls for a level playing field in competition between digital platforms.
MinDig TV was launched last December. Although reaching 88% of households, the percentage that are ready to receive the service is around 1.5%, many of which have a HD screen.
