A day before the start of the new Premier League season, ESPN has secured two new carriage agreements on both sides of the Irish Sea.
IPTV network Tiscali is offering the ESPN and ESPN America package for just one penny through until the end of September, when subscribers will have to pay the full £9.99 per month.
In Ireland ESPN and ESPN America will be available to Chorus-NTL subscribers for €10, when taken in combination with Sky Sports, and €15 alone. The UPC-owed network is also including the channel in its recently launched HD package.
ESPN holds the rights for two of the six live Premier League packages for the 2009/10 season.
