The leading Czech IPTV service O2 TV ended Q2 with 133,000 subscribers, or 35% more than 12 months earlier.
At the same time, its operator Telefónica O2 also had 634,000 retail ADSL lines at the end of June, gaining 21,700 in the second quarter, or 1.7 times more than in the corresponding period in 2008.
The total number of ADSL lines was 17.4% higher than at the end of June 2008.
The telco saw its Q2 consolidated revenues fall by 7.5% year-on-year to CZK14,631 million (€573.3 million), while OIBDA fell 6.9% to CZK7,078 million and net income by 8.6% to CZK3,077 million.
