Viasat rolls out HD in Baltics

Viasat Broadcasting has introduced HD on its satellite pay-TV platform in the three Baltic Republics.
According to the company, it in being made available in the shape of National Geographic Channel HD, the English language version being offered to subscribers to the Gold package and with a HD ready digital set-top box.
Viasat introduced HD channels in its core Scandinavian markets in January 2008.
