The Dutch public broadcasters will launch the new digital sports channel Sport 24 with live coverage of the world championships swimming this weekend.
Much like the Belgian sports channel Sporza, the new Sport 24 will only broadcast during sporting events. For the time being, the channel will be a branded block on the parliamentary channel from the public broadcasters, Politiek 24. It is available on most Dutch cable nets.
Thet next event when Sport 24 will be active will be the world light athletics championship in Germany, from August 15 to 23.
