Ukraine’s Football TV-channel has made its debut on the Sirius 4 satellite.
Part of Ukraine Broadcasting Company, it joins a growing number of Ukrainian channels, including Inter Plus, Novy Kanal, TET and 1+1 International, already distributed by Sirius at five degrees East.
The timing is seen as right by Bengt Lindholm, the general manager of SES Sirius, due to the popularity of football in Ukraine and the fact that it will be co-hosting the next European Championships, due to take place in 2012.
