News Corp loses top CEE exec

Albert Parsons is no longer the executive director of bTV, the leading Bulgarian TV channel operated by Rupert Murdoch’s Balkan News Corporation.
According to Dnevnik, he decided not to renew his contract after it expired at the end of June.
Parsons will be replaced by Gary Davey, while Viki Politkova, bTV’s general director, will assume additional responsibilities.
Davey, who was appointed COO, News Corp Stations Europe in June 1988 has previously served as CEO, Star TV in Asia. Prior to that he was deputy Managing director at BSkyB in the 1990s.
