Com Hem continues growth curve

Sweden’s Com Hem has reported strong first quarter growth, increasing revenues by 6% on Q1 2008, and adding another 18,000 digital subscribers.

The 1.76 million-subscriber network reported revenues of SEK 1,003 million (€94m) and EBITDA of SEK 412m. Investment in infrastructure, such as the upgrade of the Stockholm plant to an all-digital network, amounted to SEK 154 million.

Digital subscriptions reached 487,000, the number of analogue pay subscribers falling by 7,700 to 77,300.

As of March 31, 2009 there were 511,700 broadband subscribers, 326,200 telephony customers and 210 200 taking the triple play package.
