Canal Digital has added an additional 60 Mbps broadband tier to its cable customers in Norway, having tested the speed in the Oslo market since December.
Initially customers in Tønsberg, Grenland, Bærum and Oslo East will be able to take advantage of the higher speeds that will be marketed as ‘Giga’.
Canal Digital offers four other broadband tiers: Mini, Midi, Maxi and Mega, offering download speeds of 1, 5, 10 and 20.
Fellow Norwegian cable operator Get has plans to increase its available broadband speeds, initially to 50 Mbps, and 100 Mbps before the end of the year.
