The Canal+ Group will this summer introduce a special ‘Canal Ready” label for DTT and satellite equipment that is suitable for reception of its channels.
The ‘Canal Ready’ label will be issued for DTT and DTH receivers and integrated TV sets that are compatible with the CI Plus standard. Also, computers, mobile phones and game consoles that are capable of receiving the Canal channels may be approved for usage of the label.
The Canal+ Group said in a press release the new label is intended to make life easier for French consumers looking for new equipment.
