The Business of Multiscreen Television
Comstar-UTS has announced that it now has over 15,000 pay-TV subscribers for its Stream-TV operation in the city of Smolensk.
Of these, 12,000 are cable and the remainder multicast users.
Stream-TV began upgrading its network in Smolensk in 2008 and will continue to do so this year.
It expects to secure more subscribers this year by raising its programme offer from 22 to 50 channels.
