Russia’s second city St Petersburg is likely to have two new IPTV operations before the end of this month.
Cableman reports that one of the services will be operated by a company named Vestkoli and offer both TV and broadband internet access.
It expects to end the year with 4,000 IPTV subscribers.
The second service will meanwhile be operated by a company named Interzet and offer TV and broadband internet access at R250 (€5.54) and R400 a month respectively.
It aims to have 10,000 IPTV subscribers by the end of the year.
