Active cards for the Italian DTT pay platform Mediaset Premium added another 800,000 during 2008 to reach 2.9 million.
The mini-pay package, one of two available to terrestrial homes in Italy, generated revenues of €403.7 million representing a 78.7% increase on 2007.
However, with advertising revenues for its free-to-air business stable at €2,881.1m, the company warned of a possible fall in overall revenues in 2009.
