Zappware, the Belgian provider for interactive digital TV applications on multiple TV platforms, has been tapped by four Flemish regional TV stations to deliver DirectAccess and Digital Teletext based on their off-the-shelf iFormats.
The four regional channels are ATV, TV Oost, TV Limburg and TV Brussel, and respective services will be available on the digital TV platform of cable operator Telenet.
Marc Vervoort, iDTV Producer at Zappware, said in a statement: “Our deal with four regional TV stations proves that in the fast evolving digital era of today, broadcasters are mainly interested in solid iDTV solutions that have a proven record, that are fast to deploy, and that generate new revenues.”
