Babelgum has launched a six-month mobile TV trial with Vodafone UK. Babelgum Mobile includes free videoclips on film, music, comedy, animation, nature, travel and sports.
The application is available to download for Vodafone Live subscribers, primarily those contract customers subscribing to data bundles for use with the popular Nokia N96, N95 and 6210.
Content includes videoclips of artists such as Coldplay, Robbie Williams and Kings of Leon, BBC comedies The Office and The Mighty Boosh and extracts from Sir David Attenborough’s BBC nature documentaries.
Babelgum Mobile has been integrated with the social networking site Facebook and users can also share videos with friends, take part in competitions and vote for their favourites.
A similar service was launched with Vodafone in Italy during December.
