Belgacom TV has added four new channels to its HD offer. The IPTV service now offers a total of 13 HD services including VRT Eén HD, Eursport HD, France 2 HD and TF1 HD, which are available to viewers across the country.
The HD channel from public broadcaster VRT will only be available this summer and is expected to close down at the end of August after the main sport events, Tour de France and the Beijing Olympics. VRT will launch a permanent HD channel on Telenet, In-di, TV Vlaanderen and Coditel. Belgacom is the first in the country to offer the Dutch language version of Eurosport HD.
Belgacom already offers Discovery HD, History Channel HD, EXQI Culture HD, EXQI Sport HD, Disney Cinémagic HD, National Geographic France HD, Luxe TV HD, 11 HD and Melody Zen HD.
