Long running soap Coronation Street has become the first TV programme to feature ITV’s new mobile vouchering service.
The programme’s sponsor, furniture retailer Harveys, is to offer satellite viewers a voucher that can then be redeemed in stores across the UK. The mobile specialist Eagle Eye Solutions has created the service and technology.
The mobile discount will be advertised within Harvey’s dedicated sponsor area of the Coronation Street interactive service. Viewers can text the sponsor to receive a unique 8-digit code that is redeemable within the Harveys stores.
