The head of the Slovenian public broadcaster RTV Slo has expressed concerns about its financial future. Quoted in the local press, Anton Guzej said its inability to raise receiver licence fees would result in a deficit of €7 million in 2008 At the same time, it will have to find an additional €4 million to meet higher salaries for its employees. Joze Mozina, RTV Slo’s programme director, has meanwhile said the station will drop all programmes with an audience share of less than 2%.
