It will consist of Telefónica’s Duo service (ADSL and voice) and the DTH service offered by Sogecable. The two parties have also agreed to join forces to buy pay-TV content in Spain, with Sogecable taking the lead in the process. Telefónica already has an ownership link with Sogecable, holding a 17% stake in the pay-TV company. Sogecable’s principal shareholder is Grupo Prisa.
