Babelgum, the fledgling Internet TV network, today announced an agreement to broadcast programming and dance music from Ministry of Sound TV (MoSTV). MoSTV focuses exclusively on the dance music scene and in addition to its regular programme, the company will be delivering content from this summer’s Ibiza season on Babelgum. As far as we are aware this is the first official content deal announced by Babelgum.
MoSTV’s offering on Babelgum will include the latest and most entertaining content of all dance sub-genres from around the world. Exclusive interviews, original features and festival coverage will be complimented by live streams from the Ministry of Sound club and over 500 dance music videos.
“Ministry of Sound TV is exactly the kind of content that Babelgum was designed to deliver. Whilst the mainstream can always find a place on the traditional broadcast platforms, Babelgum provides niche content owners with a global platform to deliver in broadcast quality,” said Erik Lumer, chief executive of Babelgum in a prepared statement.
