Speaking to the local press, Jan Wejchert, the joint owner of the Polish media concern ITI Group, said that it could launch up to three more thematic channels for distribution on its proprietary new generation DTH platform n by the end of the year. They will be in addition to a planned new business channel and five other services currently in the pipeline. It also appears that ITI Group may be about to enter the TV market in Ukraine. Polish involvement in Ukrainian media is growing, with Broker FM and Edipresse Polska already claiming stakes in the radio and print sectors respectively.
