The Timeless Drama Channel is already being received in two million homes in 10 countries, according to Haymi Behar, CMO, SPI International/Filmbox.
Speaking at the Digital Entertainment and Media Summit (DEMS) at Webit 2019 in Sofia, he added that it is localised into Croatian, Macedonian, Arabic, Serbian and Romanian, with Bulgarian due to follow soon.
Looking to the future, he said that the aim was to triple the number of homes and increase the number of countries Timeless Drama Channel is available in to 25 by the end of the year.
Initial expansion plans of the channel will be focused on Europe, MENA and Asia.
Behar also said that Turkish drama is already very popular, reaching 0.5 billion people globally.
Timeless Drama Channel does not have any specific target audience, being aimed at all ages and all nationalities.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Timeless Drama Channel made its debut this April.
