UPC Ireland wins filesharing case

UPC Ireland has won a victory against four of the largest companies in the music business after the High Court in Dublin ruled that laws designed to identify internet users that had illegally downloaded music files were unenforceable.

UPC Ireland prepares to up speeds

UPC Ireland has confirmed plans to introduce a new video-on-demand service and offer subscribers a top broadband speed of 120 Mbps. The move coincides with the replacement of the customer facing brands Chorus and NTL with that of the parent company.

UPC Ireland stands firm against Pirate Bay request

UPC Ireland is refusing to block access to the Pirate Bay website on its broadband network. It follows a request from solicitors acting on behalf of the Irish divisions of EMI, Warner, Universal and Sony Music.
