German coalition supports preservation of UHF broadcast band

The frequencies in the 470-694MHz range must be retained for broadcasting and event technology beyond 2030. This was the viewpoint of an online conference by the German Alliance for Broadcasting and Cultural Frequencies.

New alliance wants to secure UHF frequencies for broadcasting

EBU report: 5G Broadcast and DTT could share UHF band and broadcast towers

Two new reports by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) conclude that a 5G Broadcast system could be safely introduced alongside existing DTT in the contested UHF band, and that existing broadcast towers could be used to significantly enhance the coverage and minimise the cost of rollout of this new technology.

ECC publishes long-term vision for UHF
