Slovak Telecom (T-Com) ended the first quarter with 136,000 subscribers to its Magio TV digital services, which are delivered via copper and optical networks, as well as DTH.
The Slovak IPTV service Magio, which is operated by the incumbent telco T-Com, will add a further 13 channels to its offer on December 1, bringing the total to 94.
The Slovak DTH platform Magio Sat has made a positive start, ending the third quarter with over 30,000 subscribers.
The Slovak incumbent telco T-Com has officially launched its new DTH platform Magio Sat. At the same time, it has significantly increased the number of channels carried by its IPTV service Magio TV.
The Slovak incumbent telco T-Com has received over 7,000 pre-registrations in less than a month for its new DTH platform Magio, due to make its debut in Q1 2010.
The FTTH network operated by the Slovak incumbent telco T-Com already covers almost 275,000 homes, with the number set to rise by a further 5,000 in the next few weeks.
Slovakia’s T-Com has begun distributing its interactive pay-TV service Magio TV via satellite on a trial basis.
