Five has become the first British broadcaster to agree to have its TV programmes carried on an internet TV platform operated by a receiver manufacturer.

Sony will bring the launch of its PS Delivery Network to customers in The Netherlands and Belgium forward to later this year rather than in 2010. In the Vidzone, people will be able to rent or buy movies from major studios on their game console.
Sony will launch its new PlayStationNetwork video delivery service for Europe and the PAL territories this November. The service will initially be available in France, Germany, Spain and the UK, with other markets to follow in 2010, and will allow movie fans to download the latest releases straight to their PlayStation3 and PSP.
