Google’s Dove flies into Prisa TV

Prisa TV, the former Sogecable, has named Stephen Dove as its chief digital officer with a brief of transforming the company’s digital operations across Spain, Latin America and the Unted States. He will work closely with Kamal Berwhani, chief digital officer of Prisa as a whole.

Capital increase to pay for Telecinco stake in Digital+

Sogecable restructuring on hold

The entrance of Mediaset’s Spanish subsidiary Telecinco into Prisa’s pay-TV business Sogecable has been dealt a major blow after the competition authority (Comisión Nacional de la Competencia) announced plans to hold separate enquiries into the pay-TV business and plans for Telecinco to also purchase the free-to-air channel Cuatro.

Sogecable makes €90m football payment

Football rights back in Sogecable net
