Sky Deutschland and Deutsche Telekom are in negotiations with the German Football League (DFL) about the transmission of Bundesliga games in 3D. At the same time, the DFL is preparing the marketing packages for new TV rights for the period beginning 2013.

The majority of German cable subscribers will not be able to see the three new HD channels from Sky Deutschand when they start broadcasting today, Friday August 13. There are still no carriage agreements with the three major nets, Kabel Deutschland, Unitymedia and Kabel BW.
