Nokia to fully acquire Siemens’ stake in NSN

Nokia Corporation and Siemens have entered into a definitive agreement for Nokia to acquire Siemens’ entire 50% stake in their joint venture, Nokia Siemens Networks.

Belgacom upgrades its IPTV service

Belgacom TV has introduced a new technology enabling almost instantaneous channel switching while improving the image quality of its digital TV service. The technology was provided by Cisco and integrated by Nokia Siemens Networks.

Industry effort for multi-screen TV delivery

Belgacom TV streams football to multiple devices

Belgacom TV will start to stream live Jupiler League football matches and highlights to mobile phones, PCs and smart devices with HTTP streaming on October 1st. The operator has undertaken a phased deployment of Nokia Siemens Networks’ Ubiquity Multiscreen TV Platform.
