IBC 2012 – AMSTERDAM. A three-way consortium has brought together a new streaming solution that can be used to deliver IP content to Freeview and Freesat viewers.

Ocean Blue Software has said it has ported its Sunrise HD DVB stack and Voyager HD MHEG-5 stack onto the new Trident PNX847x (Apollo) Chipset.
The MHEG+ toolkit, used to develop applications for Freeview and Freesat, has been made available as an Open Source release under an Apache 2.0 licence.
