ARD and ZDF secure handball TV rights

German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will transmit the matches of the German national team at the 2019 World Handball Championship and the 2024 European Handball Championship live.

IHF Handball World Cup moves to OTT in Germany

Following the dispute regarding the free-to-air satellite transmission of German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF, the IHF World Men’s Handball Championship 2017 will now be streamed online in Germany by a local bank and YouTube.

ARD/ZDF in new FTA satellite dispute
