UHD share rises to 75% in German TV set market

10 million UHD TV sets sold in Germany by early 2019

The number of Ultra HD TV sets sold in Germany will break the 10 million barrier at the beginning of 2019, according to a forecast by industry association Deutsche TV-Plattform.

Travelxp 4k to launch on Astra via HD+ [UPDATE]

Deutsche TV-Plattform and DTG explore UHD/HDR

German industry association Deutsche TV-Plattform and the UK’s Digital Television Group (DTG) held their largest joint plugfest to date from December 6-8, 2016 at the Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz Institute.
