Growing acceptance of smart TVs in Dutch homes

The number of Dutch people watching TV programmes on smartphones is growing and currently stands at 21% and 27% respectively, while usage of smart TVs is also oin the rise, according to GfK’s latest Trends in Digital Media research.

Netflix rules in the Netherlands. In July, Netflix reached 3,942,000 people in the Netherlands on PC, smartphone and / or tablet, which equals 27.5% of all Dutch from 13 years of age.

Sky Deutschland’s viewing figures underrated by 16%
