IFA 2010 – BERLIN. Eurosport will broadcast the US Open tennis tournament in 3D for demonstrations at IFA. Using a feed on the Eutelsat Eurobird 9A satelltie, the US Open in 3D will be available on a dedicated 3D signal for an exclusive broadcast on Panasonic’s booth at IFA.

Eurosport’s growing subscription revenues and a focus on multimedia platform costs have helped the TF1-owned channel counterbalance a loss in advertising revenues, which fell by 25.6% to €47.4 million in the first nine months of 2009.
SBS takes Net 5 to HD
SBS Broadcasting has announced that its Net 5 channel will launch a HD version on the Caiway cable network next week. In January, SBS will also launch an HD version of Veronica, with its flagship channel SBS6 following at a later date.
