Third of all SVOD operators are US owned

A new report on the European audiovisual sector says US groups control around one in five private TV channels and over one-third of all SVOD (38%) and TVOD (34%) services.

40,000 European films available on 367 VOD services in Europe

According to the European Audiovisual Observatory there are now 41,550 European film titles available in 367 VOD catalogues (119 TVOD and 248 SVOD catalogues).

Lumiere VOD indexes 305 VOD catalogues

Average release window between cinema and VOD is 19.4 weeks
