Smart TV sales grow by 14% in Germany, 90% support HbbTV

In Germany, around 4.1 million smart TV sets were sold in the first nine months of 2020 – almost 14% more than in the same period of the previous year (3.6 million).

German TV set market grows, 90% with HbbTV

Despite the Corona crisis, 2.7 million TV sets were sold in Germany between January and May 2020, slightly more than in the first five months of the previous year (2.65 million), according to GfK Retail & Technology.
