YouTube still dominates US online video

Google sites, driven primarily by video viewing at YouTube.com, ranked as the top online video content property in May with 147.2 million unique viewers, according to research by comScore. 176 million US internet users watched online video content in May for an average of 15.9 hours per viewer.

Germany leads Europe in online video viewing

Germany ranks as the leader in online video viewing, according to US research firm comScore, with 45 million unique viewers watching an average of 187 videos for 19.6 hours per viewer in April.

171 million US internet users watch video

Vevo reaches 50 million viewers within one year

YouTube viewer sees more than 93 videos

Record 856 million US video views for Hulu

Hulu viewing was up in the US to record levels of 856 million (a 3.1% share) in October during the height of the autumn TV season. The average Hulu viewer watched 20.1 videos, totaling two hours of videos per viewer, according to the comScore Video Metrix service.

Online TV watching continues to grow in US

Online video viewing in the US continued to reach record levels in September with nearly 26 billion videos viewed during the month by more than 168 million internet users, according to the comScore Video Metrix. Google sites, including YouTube, accounted for more than 40% of videos viewed online by Americans.
