The Slovenian National Holding Company (SDH) has rejected the extra conditions imposed by Cinven, in addition to the binding offer submitted on May 20, for it to buy a majority (75%) stake in Telekom Slovenije.
The Slovenian National Holding Company (SDH) had until this Wednesday (June 10) to make a final decision on whether or not a majority stake of 75% in Telekom Slovenije will be sold to Cinven.
Although the Telekom Slovenije privatisation process is in its final stages, it is by no means a forgone conclusion.
Slovenia’s finance minister has played down reports that Cinven is acting in concert with Deutsche Telekom over the privatisation of Telekom Slovenije.
Cinven and Warburg Pincus have successfully placed approximately 34 million ordinary shares of Ziggo at a price of €25.75 per share.
Cinven, Warburg Pincus and their co-investors intend to sell around 40 million ordinary shares in Ziggo via accelerated bookbuild.
Ziggo shareholders Cinven and Warburg Pincus have successfully placed 37 million ordinary shares of the cabler at a price of €24.75 per share, resulting in gross cash proceeds of €915.75 million.
