ITV and BBC have signed an agreement that will see the launch of their joint streaming service Britbox in the UK during the fourth quarter.
BT is reportedly in talks to join the shareholders in Britbox, the UK version of the streaming service being launched by ITV and the BBC.
Britbox, the ITV-BBC Netflix killer, is on course for launch later this year.
The BBC and ITV are in the concluding phase of talks to establish a strategic partnership to launch a streaming SVOD service to rival Netflix.
