Tele Columbus, the third largest German cable operator, gears up for further acquisitions following the recent completion of the takeover of Primacom.
German cable operator Tele Columbus has taken over several smaller operators and cable networks in April and May 2015, thereby adding a total of more than 30,000 households in Eastern Germany and federal state Lower Saxony to its customer base.
Germany’s fourth-largest cable operator PrimaCom wants to accelerate its growth through further acquisitions following last year’s takeover of DTK Deutsche Telekabel.
Germany’s third-largest cable operator Tele Columbus recorded a total of 52,000 new internet and telephony subscriptions in 2014.
