Discovery’s HGTV Home & Garden has been officially launched in Russia.
The channel is distributed by Media Alliance, a joint venture between National Media Group (NMG) and Discovery, and aimed principally at a female audience aged 25-49. It plans to premiere 500 hours of programming each year, with all content produced in-house.
Local reports say that HGTV Home & Garden is already being distributed by a number of operators including Rostelecom, ER-Telecom, MegaFon and Megogo.
