The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat is reported to have established a new subsidiary named Cyfrowy Polsat Technology. Its main function will be to produce set-top boxes for the reception of the service, which currently claims in the region of 1.7 million subscribers.
The Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat has announced that it is switching to Kudelski’s Nagravision 3 conditional access system. Its subscribers, currently believed to number around 1.7 million, will start to receive new cards this autumn, and the transition should be completed in 2008.
